DOYLESTOWN, PA — The Bucks County Classic bike races are set to return to downtown Doylestown on Sunday after going virtual in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Four races are scheduled for Sunday, with Amateur Men's Race starting at 9:45 a.m., followed by the Amateur Women's Race at 10:15 a.m., the Pro Women's Race at 11:40 a.m. and the Pro Men's Race at 1:20 p.m. Each race is set to feature at least 100 riders racing around a 1.4-mile course circling the Doylestown Arts Festival.
The 17th Bucks County Classic also includes free kids races, a bring-your-own-bike parade, and a community zone with games, giveaways and entertainment.
The event was launched in 2004 with a pro men's race, then expanded in 2014 to include a pro women's race. Amateur races for men and women were added in 2015 and 2019, respectively.
