Australian Cattle Dog Red Heeler

Description

I’ve made the decision, not lightly as this has been my baby for almost 4 years now, to rehome him. His name is Ryder. He’s a pure bred Red Heeler (Queensland Heeler) We got him from a breeder in Texas in 2018, making him 3, almost 4 years old. He needs to be an only dog. He’s a great dog by himself, but does not know how to react with other dogs. Never been around any other animals. His energy is unlimited and would do best at a place where he can run or play, or just someone that can spend an endless amount of time with him. He rides great in cars and knows basic commands like sit, wait, lay, paw, and sit pretty. I’ve been working with him with a trainer, but he keeps lashing out towards our other dog and I can’t handle that any more, as he just bit the top of the other dogs ear off. He is crate trained as well, but is never crated anymore as we just constantly keep the dogs separated. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on shots, and has a clean health record. Asking a rehoming fee of $75 and will come with a leash, collar, a bed, a large kennel, a bag of food so that he can be transitioned to different food if you choose, and a food bowl. Rehoming fee is negotiable. I just need to find him a good home. I have an appointment to surrender him on September 16 but am hoping to find a better home for him by then.
