Hey, I'm Ben. I play bass and would be interested in joining an existing band. I have another project that I write for, but I've always enjoyed learning and writing to other people's songs. I would love to do more of it. I'm not looking to start something new from scratch. I've been playing since I was 13 (I'm 31), have a stable day job and could commit to practicing once a week. My most recent projects have been in the art rock, post-rock, shoegaze, math rock and progressive rock genres. I'm open to other genres, but loath playing blues rock and country. My slap technique is garbage too, so funk wouldn't be the best fit. I'm always listening to a bunch of different stuff, but some of my favorites bands/musicians are Radiohead, Emma Ruth Rundle, Elliot Smith, David Bowie, Run The Jewels, Brutus, TV On the Radio, and Chelsea Wolfe.
