Description

ESTABLISHED INDIE WRITER PRODUCER LOOKING 4 VOCALIST / CREATIVE PARTNER I'm in my late 30's - been doing music professionally for the past 20 years - I'm originally established in Los Angeles - looking for a collaborator w/ a music career mindset in the area to form a casual project that will hopefully turn into something more serious down the road. My style is more indie, darker, ambient, dreamy, shoegaze, electronic, etc. ex Cocteau Twins, Beach House, Jesus and Mary Chain, Mazzy Star, The XX, and a bunch more in that realm... Looking for a collaboration w/ someone on a similar page - I play guitar mainly but also produce full arrangements w/ all other instruments. Would be cool to link up with someone who is a primary vocalist - some recording and live experience would be great and if you can play keys or other instruments that would be cool too Future goals would be to eventually put out a single / EP etc. I also do music for TV/Film/Commercial stuff and would like to potentially use music for that. Ideally this will be a VERY low stress, low maintenance project that I want to have fun with - see where it goes, then possibly turn it into something more serious down the road and utilize my connections once COVID clears up more. Would be down to do demos remotely for the time being so if you had a basic home recording set up that would be great! We could establish some ideas and come together in person at some point - no rush on that though. I live in Tacoma WA but I'm not limiting myself to just that area - Would be ok with someone based in the surrounding Seattle area and cities / towns (I'm still not familiar with the area but getting there!) If this sounds interesting would love to talk more and swap samples / project ideas / future goals etc! Would love to hear any type of vocal samples to get an idea! thanks so much!
