The Catholic Cemetery Association has a wonderful opportunity to join our Grounds team! Job description Grounds Maintenance (Good pay and amazing benefits!) Perform significant landscaping tasks, assist with irrigation systems, mowing, trimming, clean-up and other tasks related to cemetery grounds. Assist in preparing for burials. Must be drug free (including all forms of marijuana!) QUALIFICATIONS: - Knowledge of landscape maintenance equipment and processes - Some experience in grounds maintenance - Ability to project a professional, sincere and friendly manner at all times - Ability to work well with staff and supervisors - Demonstrated sensitivity to a multicultural church -MUST BE DRUG FREE, INCLUDING MEDICAL MARIJUANA, NO MARIJUANA USERS WILL BE HIRED DUE TO USE OF EQUIPMENT ON A DAILY BASIS - Operation of light and heavy equipment, on as-needed basis SPECIFIC DUTIES: 1. Maintain grounds, and equipment under the direction of cemetery supervisor, supervisor or team leader. 2. Take direction, follow through, support cemetery supervisor, supervisor or team leader 2. Completes assignments and duties within the procedures established for that job. 3. Maintains equipment/tools used for the grounds keeping and maintenance. 4. Conducts periodic safety and hazard checks on all buildings, grounds, equipment and tools; reports these findings to the cemetery supervisor, supervisor or team leader. 5. May be called upon to perform comparable duties and/or train in areas of similar or related nature or to assist in areas where the Catholic Cemeteries needs require. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $15.00 + benefits
