Every semiconductor wafer must meet the basic electrical and visual criteria before being packaged and shipped to customers, and as a Quality Technician, you would be performing this vital step. No semiconductor quality experience necessary! Candidates with careful working attitudes, strong attention to detail, and a mind for processes are highly desirable. As a Quality Technician, your responsibilities will include: Successfully catch wafers with misalignment, photo defects, etch defects, and other defects at all levels. Operate a microscope for visual inspection. Understand and follow the Inline QC Photo Develop Inspection and Post-Etch Inspection specifications. Understand and follow basic QC disposition rules. The ideal Quality Technician will be: Proficient with image capture of defects, microscope operation, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word. Understanding of the difference between random and systematic process issues/defects. Experienced with the operation of a microscope. Able to perform repetitive tasks daily and manage consistent workflow Be able to work nights from Wednedsay - Friday + every other Saturday As a Quality Technician, you will benefit from: $16-20/hr. $16/hr wage for candidates who have no experience (Nights start at $18.40/hr) $20 daily meal stipend.
