Hello! I just got Riley 2 weeks ago from the local pet store, but unfortunately, I have to move to another state to help a family member in need, and I want Riley to be with someone who can give him the love and attention he deserves. Riley's wings are clipped and will fill in over the next 6mo to 1yr. He is trained to step up on a perch, but is still weary of hands, so he will need more training. Despite that, he (or she, not sure) LOVES head scratches and spending lots of time around us. He's always calling us to come get him when we leave the room. He can place coins in a jar, and loves to play with toys. He's very food motivated. His favorite fruits so far are watermelon, apples, and bananas. He is fed fresh bird chop every morning. He eats 1/8 cup of Zoopreem fruit blend pellets daily. Seeds are only given during training since they're fattening. I planned on getting him a bigger cage this month, but since I am rehoming him, I suggest his new owner gets a flight cage so he can have more space. He plays really hard in his cage towards the evening. He is a very sweet bird, and I will really miss his companionship. A rehoming fee of $400 is required to ensure he is wanted by someone who is serious about taking excellent care of him. That includes his cage, all toys, all food, and even the bird chop I made and froze for him. Please, serious inquiries only. If this post is still up, he is still available.
