FOUND big red dog

This big red dog - lab / lab mix maybe? - came up and poked me in the back with his nose last night as I was working at the edge of my garage. Scared the shit out of me at first until I figured out it was just this friendly, skinny dog. The dog has a collar, but no tag. I believe he is still pretty young. We put him in our backyard and fed him overnight. He was VERY hungry. By this morning, he had already figured out how to escape. I guess since we fed him, he has hung out here around our house outside all day - going in and out of the backyard by himself. We are hoping to find his owners. We cannot keep him. Tomorrow (Saturday 9/11), if he is still hanging out here, we will take him to the Mesquite Animal Shelter. They will scan him for a microchip. If his owners do not come claim him, I am sure someone will adopt this beautiful, friendly dog.
