Not that I’m looking to start a political band necessarily, I’m just tired of political bullshit detracting from positive band dynamics. It’s like I’ll get to know someone, jive with their playing, and then suddenly the most ignorant, hateful MAGA bullshit just falls out of their face and I’m like I try to ignore it and focus on the music but it just keeps spewing until it’s hard to feel good about spending time and creative energy with that person anymore, let alone just keep my mouth shut when they’re unknowingly just insulting the shit out of me or people I love. It’s so lame, I hate that I’m compelled to even make this post it’s just I wanna make some music goddamn it without listening to political debates. Anyway I like punk, ska, metal, grunge, dancehall reggae. I sing well, drum badly, bass is mehhhhhh but I can do it. Plenty of experience on the stage and in the studio, couple albums on Spotify, etc. Who’s out there??
