Weston & Sampson Services is looking for a Wastewater Treatment Plant Receiver/Laborer in the Yarmouth Treatment Facility. What you’ll do: •Verify and maintain records on incoming truck loads; sampling of truck loads •Verifying and recording incoming material •Operate some basic wastewater equipment •Maintain data log sheets •Landscaping and other custodial tasks •Responsible to operate some heavy machinery What you will bring: •A high school diploma or equivalent •Wastewater experience is preferred but not needed •A CDL license and a minimum hoisting license of 1C & 2C is preferred. •Obtaining CDL and hoisting license will be required within 6 months of employment (with incentives) •Must be able to climb ladders and lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs. •Must have good written and verbal communication skills •Ability to problem solve •Familiarity with computers in a Windows based environment •Driver’s license required with a safe driving history •Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening Salary: $20-$26 hourly, dependent on years of experience and licensing. Incentives: Pay increases are offered with new acquired licenses (wastewater, water, or other job-related licenses). Sign-On Bonus: Sign-on bonuses are available. Requirements: Full-time position may require various shifts and/or flexible hours. You will be expected to participate in the on-call rotation, occasional overtime, holidays, weekends and nights.
