An overview of the recent changes to Virginia laws regarding employment and recommendations for best practices moving forward. EMPLOYER LEGAL COMPLIANCE - UPDATE: 2021 & BEYOND! In the past year, Virginia and federal laws governing the workplace have changed rapidly, including expansion of legally-protected categories, noncompete prohibitions, marijuana legalization, changes to Virginia minimum wage/overtime laws, and newly amended COVID-19 regulations from VOSHA. While you may have caught all these changes, there’s still a chance you missed one. This event is free and open to businesses in Southwest Virginia.
