We are a growing, woman and minority owned pest control business. We service the 5 boroughs and long island. We are looking for a licensed technician. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience in pest control. They MUST have active 7A and 7F licenses. It would be preferred if the candidate owned a reliable car with a valid driver's license and VALID car insurance. Candidates need to have excellent verbal and written skills, customer service skills, be able to work independently and as part of the team. Each applicant must also be able to pass a criminal background check and provide valid job references. We take pride in giving excellent service to our customers. This means that presenting a professional appearance and attitude is imperative to our success. Salary structure will be based on experience and credentials. Responsibilities: • Inspecting premises to identify pest problems. • Must be able to determine the kind of treatment required to eliminate a particular type of pest. • Design and carry out integrated pest management plans • Must communicate with office staff to schedule services with clients. • Must follow the label instructions and comply with safety procedures. • Identify opportunities to sell additional company services and products. • Enter data into smart phone-based pest control app (PestPac) Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED • Certificated technician and/or applicators license • Familiarity with the CRM software preferable PestPac • Able to lift, bend, climb, reach, kneel, etc., for extended periods. As well as the ability to work in all weather conditions • Ability to work a variety of hours based on clients’ needs (this includes over weekends, and on public holidays with short or no notice) • Must have good time management skills • Must be trustworthy as duties are mostly discharged without the physical presence of the client • Must be very knowledgeable about a wide variety of pests and be up to date with current industrial practice. Additional requirements: • Must be willing to follow government and federal guidelines regarding the covid pandemic. Which includes being comfortable using P.P.E.
