Travel back in time to when the Arboretum was a private estate of Jesse Tyson and learn how his design of the grounds still has influence. The mansion will be open this evening as well so you can see the botanical wallcovering imported from Europe and the ornate craftsmanship that makes this house so special. History teacher and CAF Board President Rebecca Henry will lead this informative tour. This is the fifth tour in our Fall Wednesday Walk Series. Cylburn Arboretum Friends is the 501(c)3 non-profit friends group of Baltimore City's Cylburn Arboretum, enriching and enhancing the arboretum and our community in a variety of ways, and providing nature education programs for people of all ages.
