Inspired by the acrobatic folk renderings of Joni Mitchell, Ella Fitzgerald’s jazz stylings, and Lianne LaHavas’ soulful charisma, she draws skillfully from her lineage of musical pioneers, creating a musical lane all her own. With a playful presence and frank, transporting storytelling, Diggs’ mastery of her voice is the focal point of each performance, and a transfixing experience. Wallace Field Newcomer folk artist Wallace Field makes her musical debut with "Crystal Mirror," out now on Hand Over Foot Records. Self-recorded at home in western Massachusetts during quarantine and in collaboration with Echo Base Production, Field's "Crystal Mirror" EP offers a chance to escape from the chaos on planet Earth, and more importantly, to reflect on how to change it for the better. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Weyes Blood, Joan Baez, Kate Bush, and FKA twigs, Field creates an intimate soundscape fit for this galaxy and beyond. Early praise for the record calls it “gloriously trippy” and marks Field as a “marvelous story adapter as well as a storyteller.” Field hopes to record her first full-length studio album in summer 2021. High Tea the musical duo comprised of Isabella DeHerdt (of Kalliope Jones) and Isaac Eliot hailing from the Boston area. From sweet and soulful harmonies to dig-in-deep guitar strumming and percussion, High Tea is here to get a little fancy *COVID Policy* For the safety of our artists, venue staff and our community as a whole we will be requiring proof of vaccination for admittance to all shows at Hawks & Reed Performing Arts Center until further notice.
