Join Teaching Cleveland for this year's first Learning Lab! This year we will look at the public good: what is it, and how do we teach it? Dr. Tom Sutton, Baldwin Wallace Professor of Political Science and Director of BW's Community Research Institute, will begin this year-long conversation on Wednesday, September 22nd at 5pm. His focus will be on why understanding public opinion matters and how that knowledge is essential to understanding issues and pursuing solutions to public challenges. Reconnect with your friends and colleagues - IN PERSON - as we begin a year of learning more about issues facing the Northeast Ohio community and our students, as we learn from local scholars and experts.
