SUNRIZE - YOGA - DANCE - SILENT DISCO - MUSIC - ART - HEALING RIZE is a unique conscious dance experience held at dawn on rooftops across the globe, using yoga, movement and the natural sunrize as a resource for inspiration and healing. Rize is a celebration of life itself and a harnessing of the energy of the Sun as we reflect back to it the light within each of us. This event is designed to help participants quiet their minds and step into their bodies - addressing issues of mental health, anxiety, and depression as major concerns in our communities. It’s an opportunity for people to connect with themselves, each other and nature through guided yoga- movement and a liberating dance. RIZE is a Movement for Peace and Social Change. A journey towards our Health and our Hearts, honoring the infinite interconnectedness of Movement, Nature and each of our precious Lives. GUIDELINES: 》Move however you wish! 》No shoes on the dance floor. RIZE is a barefoot practice. If you need to wear shoes due to health reasons, please note dance-specific shoes are allowed, but only shoes that have not been worn on the street. 》Be mindful of the space and those around you. 》No talking on the dance floor. 》 RIZE is a Drug and Alcohol Free Space. 》Please also refrain from photos, videos and scents. 》Masks are required indoors at all times (except for when eating/drinking). Q&A: What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? By Public Transportation: The Bruce C. Bolling Building is located in Nubain Square directly adjacent to Nubian T - Station. Take elevator to 6th Floor. By Car: Please see Google Maps Parking: Street Parking Available. What to bring? We encourage everyone to bring their own yoga mat if they have one. Please also bring a water bottle, and comfortable clothing/warm layers (depending on weather). The business was established in 2018 and has since hosted several events and retreats. Nomadik By Nature has a strong vision of building a team that can spread this Movement across cities Worldwide. RIZE is a Movement for Peace and Social Change, inspired by a call for conscious movement to serve the mind, body and soul of city folk. This event will address issues of mental health, anxiety, and depression as major concerns in our communities. It’s an opportunity for people to connect with themselves, each other and nature through guided yoga-movement and a liberating dance. RIZE is a reminder of the interconnectedness of all things, and a call to action that transformation can happen right where we are. Each year, as a part of City Awake, the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce's young professional network, we host the annual Fierce Urgency of Now festival in partnership with organizations throughout the Greater Boston region. The festival draws thousands of attendees across five days with over 35 events highlighting the challenges and experience of young professionals of color. F.U.N. encourages our community to share what steps their company or industry is taking to improve the experience of young professionals of color in Greater Boston. Through our programming we also continue to highlight Boston’s diverse neighborhoods, voices, organizations, and perspectives through social, cultural, civic, and community events.
