Older Cat NEEDS New Home

I have an 8 year old-ish female cat who is dire need of a new home. Her primary human died about two years ago. She has been with the husband since then. But his health has declined tremendously and he can no longer care for her. She is under immense stress and has stopped using the litter box!!** I want to be completely upfront about this issue! She needs to feel safe and loved! It’s a complicated situation. But we have called every shelter in Connecticut and not one will take her in. So I’m turning to Craigslist, in hopes that there is a perfect home waiting for this sweet girl. The cat is located in West Haven. We are willing to drive her up to an hour away. She is up to date on her vaccinations and is fixed. I do want to make sure she goes to a safe, good home. And if anyone who is affiliated with a cat rescue reads this, please reach out to me!
