The annual West 44 Garage Sale is BACK!!!! SATURDAY, OCTOBER 2, from 9am to 5pm After a shutdown due to COVID in 2020 the West 44th Street Garage Sale is back. Hell’s Kitchen most popular community event is scheduled for Saturday October 2. The event will be held on W44 between Ninth and Tenth Avenues. The block is home to five restaurants, The Actor’s Studio, The New Dramatist’s and the Domus shop for “Unaffecting Living.” We are a suburban style Garage Sale in the heart of midtown Manhattan. Our sale is not limited to one family selling their goods but to thirty – forty friends and neighbors selling. We have NO commercial vendors. This is the perfect time to visit the block and discover something precious and special. In past years our neighbors have sold jewelry, dishes, sofas, furniture, books, rugs, lamps, clothes, and so many other things large and small, ranging from vintage to brand new. The sale is sponsored by the West 44th Better Block Association/Friends of Pier 84 we are New York City’s largest and oldest garage sale and Hell’s Kitchen most popular street event after the Ninth Avenue International Food Festival.
