We are looking for an Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you would work with the Maintenance Team, responding to the needs of Residents and fellow staff, being flexible and ready to jump into a variety of different tasks this includes apartment turns, daily maintenance, garbages, work orders and grounds work. This is the perfect role for someone who doesn’t want any two days to be the same. There’s light plumbing, electrical, carpentry work, some light janitorial work, and grounds keeping. Qualifications: - Hands-on maintenance experience required -Light plumbing experience required -Knowledge of power tools -All-in attitude and an eagerness to help in a variety of capacities! -Good communication skills and a strong customer service mindset -High school Diploma or equivalent is preferred -Willing and able to lift and move equipment, trash bags, and other miscellaneous tasks both indoors and outdoors. Able to handle the physical demands of this job. Working Environment and Physical Demands: -Extensive mobility including the ability to lift 100 lbs. as necessary -Ability to kneel, crouch, crawl and climb to reach items in need of repair -Must be able to stand for long periods of time (8 hours or more per day) -Responsible for taking the emergency maintenance phone 1 week a month -Someone with a proactive mindset -Team player and willingness to learn Work schedule is Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Full benefits offered (medical, dental and vision) Pay is $16.50-$17.50 DOE To apply please reply with a Resume and Cover Letter.
