Diesel Technician Apprentice/Shop Helper: We are a locally owned Diesel Repair Company that has been in business over 15 years. We are looking for an individual who is interested in becoming part of out team at the entry level position. We would like to find someone who wants to make this a long term career with potential to grow and learn here at our Company. Job Duties: Assist Technicians when Needed. General Service work (oil changes, transmission services, etc...) Light repair work, Installation of vehicle Accessories. Maintain a safe and clean shop area. Numerous other shop duties and opportunities. On the job training provided. Qualifications: Valid Drivers License Reliable transportation Some Automotive (Diesel) repair experience or interest in an asset, but not required. Good mechanical aptitude Willingness to learn, listen and follow directions Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Assist in all duties as required around the shop Able to perform physical work to include, lifting, walking, standing, stairs and bending.
