G.S. Gelato is urgently hiring for multiple positions! No experience required! Apply in person on Tuesday, 9/14/21 from 9am – 11am at 1785 FIM Blvd., Fort Walton Beach, FL or fill out & email the application below! ***OPEN POSITIONS*** Boxing – Bundler Operator (hourly, starting at $14/hr) - Place Cases into Verified stack order - Maintain correct operation of shrink wrap dispense/heat/fans/conveyors speeds of bundler as well as daily cleaning - Notifying management of deficiencies - Maintain record of product counts being palletized - Be alert to constant change of products. - Follow and enforce GS Gelato’s GMP, SQF, safety and sanitation regulations - All other duties as assigned Boxing – Runner (hourly, starting at $14/hr) - Keep pallets/boxes/shrink wrap/tape stocked for constant use - Help move full built pallets into storage area. - Able to assist in any area within boxing, as needed - Forklift/ pallet jack use - Maintain cleanliness of Boxing area while in operation - Notifying management of deficiencies - Follow and enforce GS Gelato’s GMP, SQF, safety, and sanitation regulations - All other duties as assigned Boxing – Palletizer (hourly, starting at $14/hr) - Identifying pallet grades and where to use them - Follow appropriate pallet configuration sheets for items being boxed - Inspect finished product for damages and/or non-conformity in appearance, lot number and BBD before boxing - Notifying management of deficiencies - Maintain record of product counts being palletized - Responsible for maintaining and cleaning equipment - Follow and enforce GS Gelato’s GMP, SQF, safety and sanitation regulations - All other duties as assigned Boxing – Associate (hourly, starting at $14/hr) - Folding/taping boxes - Collect product descriptions, lot numbers, BBD for label being printed to apply onto box/case - Verify product information is correct and quantity of labels - Inspect product for damages and/or non-conformity in appearance, lot number and BBD before boxing - Notifying management of deficiencies - Maintain record of product counts being palletized - Responsible for maintaining and cleaning equipment - Follow and enforce GS Gelato’s GMP, SQF, safety and sanitation regulations - All other duties as assigned Pasteurizer Operator (hourly, starting at $15/hr) - Operating and monitoring pasteurization process, including adding ingredients, monitoring equipment[vats/time and temperature recorders], and completing paperwork throughout process. - Responsible for maintaining and cleaning equipment in pasteurization area - Notifying management of deficiencies in the pasteurization area or processes - Follow and enforce GS Gelato’s GMP, SQF, safety and sanitation regulations - All other duties as assigned - Must be able to Lift 60 lbs continuously throughout shift - Comfortable with knife use - Demonstrated ability to interpret information. (Scale use/ basic math) - Able to stand for long periods of time - Must be able to use cleaning products and equipment - Not sensitive to high heat and/or steam (Vats reach 180+ degrees) - Flexible schedule (3am start times and working Sundays, on occasion) Cleanliness must be maintained in the production area by all roles at all times.
