Janitor / Custodian A company located in the Northwest Houston near Beltway 8 / Hwy 290 is seeking janitors - custodians to perform the general facility maintenance of office and manufacturing buildings. This facility encompasses multiple shops, offices and warehouse buildings. Responsibilities include cleaning offices, restrooms and common areas, responding to janitorial requests in a timely manner, minor maintenance, sweeping, moping, dusting, polishing floors, taking out trash and performing other related duties assigned by management. Candidates also need to be able to operate a forklift used to dump trash hoppers. Requirements: • Speak, read and write English clearly • Follow company safety guidelines • Stand and perform physical labor majority of shift • Understand and follow written and verbal instructions • At least 1 year of prior work experience performing similar duties All candidates are required to pass a background check and drug screen.
