Celebrate life and the passing of the Heartbeat Bill through worship and the arts. Improv dance focus, all worshippers welcome! A note from the organizer: My heart was grieved by many of the responses to the passing of the Heartbeat Bill in Texas. As a Christian and dancer, watching one group perform on the Capitol grounds was especially painful. Young women dressed as handmaidens danced in a twisted protest of the bill. After seeing people use their God-given talent of dance for ill, as well as the Satanic Temple’s public statement on the matter, I knew I had to respond. I am a dancer, and I use dance to worship the Lord. Several individuals and organizations have joined me in supporting the bill, celebrating life, and rededicating dance and the arts to the Lord through this event. On September 18th at the Texas State Capitol Great Walk, we will worship together through improv dance and live worship with anyone who wants to champion this movement. There will be local pregnancy and crisis centers present to raise awareness of the resources available for those needing assistance in making the decision to choose life. A prayer team will also be available to offer a listening ear and a compassionate heart. We want to take action as the hands and feet of Jesus to defend unborn children and support their mothers and fathers, and we invite you to join us.
