Discover Mission Bay, in partnership with I Love a Clean San Diego, invites the community to participate in the 37th Coastal Cleanup Day. Discover Mission Bay, in partnership with I Love a Clean San Diego, invites the community to participate in the 37th Coastal Cleanup Day, one of the largest single-day environmental action events in San Diego County. Volunteers of all ages are invited to get outside and help remove trash from the community to protect San Diego county’s watersheds. Discover Mission Bay will host a clean-up site at Ventura Cove Beach, located on Gleason Rd. next to the Bahia Resort Hotel; and at Bonita Cove, on Saturday, September 18 from 9am-1pm. At Ventura Cove, volunteers can pick up gloves, trash bags, and snacks at the WE CARE table to get clean-up supplies. Volunteers who participate in the beach clean-up are invited to attend the Discover Mission Bay Barbeque lunch hosted by Evans Hotels at the Bahia Resort Hotel on the Palm Terrace from 12pm-1:30pm.
