Join us as James Jacobs, associate professor of computer science, talks about the events leading up to 9/11. Understanding 9/11 means understanding decades of what lead up to this destructive event—including the U.S. invasion of Panama and the Persian Gulf War. By looking at the causation, we can begin to better discern the effects of 9/11 on society. Join us as James Jacobs, associate professor of computer science, opens the 2021 Fall Faculty Series with a lecture about the events leading up to 9/11.
