Afghanistan is in crisis. Families across the country are facing violence, struggling with displacement and fighting through hunger.
Families across Afghanistan are asking for our attention and compassion right now: An estimated 270,000 Afghans have been newly displaced inside the country since January 2021, primarily due to insecurity and violence, bringing the total uprooted population to more than 3.5 million people. Families are forced to flee their homes in recent weeks have cited the worsening security situation as the predominant reason for their flight.
Please join Islamic Relief USA on Friday, September 24, 2021 at 6pm PT for this insightful fundraiser to aid our brothers and sisters suffering in Afghanistan. We will be hosting our guests at Masjid Al Aziz and providing dinner. Looking forward to seeing you and your families attend.
