In this presentation you will learn about facts and myths about suicide, and how to find hope and healing. In honor of September being Suicide Awareness Month, we will have a presentation from Joyce Bruggeman who will share about her personal journey with a family member of hers who died by suicide and how she found hope and purpose in life. She will also talk about the warning signs of suicide, how to talk about it, and spirituality as aid. We will have resources for people who have lost a loved one to suicide. About the presenter: She is a former executive director of SOSL (Survivors of Suicide Loss)She is a QPR (Question, Persuade, and Refer) trainerShe is a Trauma incident reduction facilitatorMental Health Coach She is the author of two books: Everlasting bridge and From God's heart to yours The North Inland Faith Partnership (NIFP) developed in North County and is a unique council comprised of Behavioral Health Services staff and service providers, congregants, faith leaders and public/private community partners. Upon forming, NIFP adopeted the following mission: "Faith-based communities, in partnership with Behavioral Health Services, work to improve people's lives through integration of body, mind and spirit."
