Stock Portfolio Do's and Don'ts presented by Allen Holdsworth Based on over 90 portfolio reviews during the last 9 years, Allen Holdsworth will discuss the major problems investors have and what to do to either avoid them or to fix them. He will use many real-life examples. Afterwards, three chapter directors will each present 3 stock ideas in 3 minutes. The first agenda item, a short business meeting, will include a treasurer's report, minutes from the last annual meeting, and nominations for new chapter directors. The St Louis Better Investing Chapter covers eastern Missouri and southern Illinois.  Local volunteers provide investor education for BI members and the public and assist new and established investment clubs with training, trouble-shooting, and public events promoting investor discussions and knowledge.  Investor education focuses on  finding good growth company investment opportunities and knowledge to analyze company fundamentals.   Since 1950 successful Better Investing members have followed 4 core principles: Invest regularly - regardless of market outlook Reinvest all earnings Invest in well-managed growth companies at the right price Diversify to reduce risk
