Description
It is time to rehome our umbrella cockatoo. Changes in our life circumstances have caused routine changes for her as well and she needs to go to a home where she can be the center of attention. We received her as a rescue 2 years ago and she was thought to be 3 years old then which puts her around 5 years old now. She plucks her chest and small portions of her wings. She does not bite unless something really scares her. She really gravitates towards men but warms up to women with time.
If you have not owned a cockatoo or a parrot prior, please research. She can scream very loudly when you are not in the room to show her attention. They need a lot of time out of the cage, stimulation with toys, a good diet consisting of pellets and veggies/fruit, and 12 hours of sleep each night.
There is a rehoming fee that does include her large cage and toys. Feel free to text me to discuss.
