(You Must Pre-Register for Orientation) This Wood Shop Orientation is geared towards new members, and members that have been away from the origanization for some time. During the orientation, You Will: Receive the mandatory safety "check out" on the planer & Sawstop Table saw, Get you up to speed where everything is in the shop Go Over some of those unwritten guidelines that make our space work so well. I look forward to seeing you there! ~Jon Jon Alt is a self-taught wood worker who enjoys making craftsman and mid-century modern furniture as well as smaller items such as clocks and keep sake boxes of various styles. Jon currently is the volunteer manager of the Twin Cities Maker Wood Shop.  This non-pofit, all volunteer run maker space is located in the seward neighborhood of Minneapolis, MN.
