Press release from the Town of Wakefield: September 8, 2021 - 11:58am Wakefield's Clergy Council, in partnership with the Town of Wakefield and Wakefield Public Schools, will recognize the twentieth anniversary of 9/11 on Saturday, September 11, 2021, on the Veterans' Memorial Common. The evening of remembrance, which will begin at 7 p.m., will include moments of silence for those who were lost, acknowledgements of those who responded and those who grieve, interfaith readings and blessings, and music from the Wakefield School Department.
