Join the Sarasota Bay Estuary Program for a walking tour of Quick Point Nature Preserve, one of the first habitat restoration sites in the Sarasota Bay area. SBEP staff will lead participants through an exploration of the preserve's boardwalks and mangrove wetlands while describing the history of the site and highlighting what makes Sarasota Bay an estuary of national significance.
This event is open to all ages. Minors should be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Participants should be comfortable walking on uneven ground. There are no restrooms available on site.
The Sarasota Bay Estuary Program is dedicated to restoring the region’s most important natural asset – Sarasota Bay. Since 1989, SBEP and its partners have had a vision of Sarasota Bay with clear waters, healthy habitat, abundant wildlife, and a vibrant community enjoying the Bay’s resources and recreation.
