(GFI) is hosting a FREE, virtual Lunch and Learn program on employer understanding of neurodiversity as it applies to the company's commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). The program is offered on Tuesday, September 14, from 12:00 - 12:45 pm on Zoom. Though it is free to attend, pre-registration is required in order to receive the event link. The program will be moderated by GFI co-founders Chelsea Budde and Denise Schamens; GFI board director and autistic advocate Sarah Russell will also provide invaluable perspective. The topics of discussion include the concept of neurodiversity, why hiring autistic workers is a sound business practice, and how GFI can help companies be inclusive of adults on the autism spectrum. Companies looking to enhance their DEI focus should attend a program for an insightful time of learning and sharing. Companies will learn best practices for recruiting and onboarding autistic talent, participate in a dynamic roundtable discussion with other companies, and hear Sarah Russell's #ActuallyAutistic experience and perspective. To Register: https://goodfriendinc.com/lunchandlearn/ Additional Lunch and Learn programs will be scheduled in the future and may not be specific to the lunch hour to be considerate to more schedules that may not fit just in the lunch hour.
