Warehouse Fulfillment Associate We are a growing fulfillment/shipping company located in Livermore looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Fulfillment Associate to join our warehousing team. As a Fulfillment Associate, you will be responsible for processing orders, locating merchandise, pulling and packaging orders for shipments and other warehousing tasks. You may also be required to operate light machinery like pallet jacks and box strapping machines as well as use a rolling ladder. To ensure success as a Fulfillment Associate, you should be able to learn and understand warehousing procedures, have a good eye for detail, and the ability to lift heavy objects from time to time. Most of our material and products are small and light weight. Ultimately, a top-class Fulfillment Associate processes orders quickly and efficiently while adhering to safety and quality standards. General working hours are from 7am-3:30pm. Generally, 40 hours per week, sometimes less and sometimes there is opportunity for overtime. Compensation from $20-$23 per hour depending on qualifications and experience. Fulfillment Associate Responsibilities: • Prioritizing orders and tasks • Locating and extracting merchandise from shelves and storage areas. • Reading and deciphering orders. • Confirming merchandise information matches that of the order. • Inspecting the merchandise for damage, flaws, and irregularities. • Packing the merchandise for delivery. • Finalizing the work order and updating the database. • Shipping packages using a computer ship station to create labels. • Troubleshooting shipping issues like partial or bad addresses. • Adhering to state health and safety practices. Fulfillment Associate Requirements: • Must be reliable, show up on time and be a dependable person • High school diploma or GED. • Ability to read and interpret orders. • Must speak, read and write fluent English • General computer skills required (Familiarity with email, word docs, excel docs, google search and maps) • Ability to lift heavy objects. • Ability to stand or walk for shift. • Strong attention to detail. Preferred skills • Knowledge of warehousing procedures is a plus. • Previous experience as a Fulfillment Associate is a plus. • Previous shipping experience Familiarity working with FedEx, UPS, DHL and USPS is a plus. We are a small and growing company which means new tasks and responsibilities can arise and be added to your daily duties. Someone who can adapt and has a good attitude is a must for us.
