We are a custom upholstery workroom seeking an expeditor to join our team full time. The right fit must have a positive attitude, excellent work ethic and dedication to getting the job done right. This position supports the work of 12 other craftspersons and is critical to keeping the workroom running smoothly. Task will include:
- Checking in fabrics for all of our projects
- Correspondence with our interior design clients
- Fabric remnant management
- Keeping stock organized throughout the shop
- Placing orders for stock with our Shop Manager
- Running errands
- Picking up and inspecting custom frames
- Keeping the workshop tidy
- Assisting owner and Textile Manager with special projects as needed, which may include production
Must have drivers license and clean driving history. Car not required. Must be able to lift 50lbs.
A background or appreciation in creating is not required, but it is appreciated
Position includes sick time, vacation time, holiday pay, healthcare and dental
This is a Monday-Friday position.
