Description

SEATTLE, WA — The City of Seattle will pay tribute to the many victims who lost their lives nearly 20 years ago during the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. According to the city, it will hold a small ceremony to remember and honor the nearly 3,000 lives tragically taken when more than a dozen terrorists associated with the Islamic extremist group al-Qaeda hijacked four domestic planes and crashed them into multiple targets — including the World Trade Center and the Pentagon — throughout the U.S. The public is invited to join Seattle Fire and Police Departments virtually on Sept. 11 at 11 a.m. for a live stream of a small ceremony to commemorate the 20-year anniversary of 9/11. "We will honor all who lost their lives on 9/11 and as a result of that tragic day," the Seattle Police Department posted on its official Facebook page. Access the live stream link the morning of Sept. 11 at this link: https://fal.cn/3i4cG.
