Groundsman / Tree Trimmer Pay Scale: $13-$15 per hour (BSC) Benefits Available: Health Care, 401K, Paid Vacation, Professional Uniforms, Comprehensive Training For Career Advancement Brief Overview: Our Groundsman are experienced arbor care specialists. They provide ground support to climbers and bucket operators, such as chipping debris, blowing, staging, raking, trimming, using pole saws, and managing pedestrian and vehicle traffic. This position reports to a Arbor Care Crew Leader. • Maintains positive, responsive, and flexible attitude to all clients Safety Management • Maintains and promotes safe working conditions in the field always • Follows company procedures on discipline if any safety rules are broken • Have zero preventable accidents Image Compliance Equipment Management • Is accountable for neglect and abuse of assigned equipment General Qualifications • Must be have a minimum two-year apprenticeship in one or more of the job sub-categories listed above • Can pass drug test • Can pass a criminal back ground check • Comply with business ethics, applicable laws, and regulations • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information Work Environment/Physical Requirements • Work in/or about situations near direct automotive traffic • Work near or about natural bodies of water • Work with various types of work lifts • Able to work overtime or extended shifts if required by Management • Ability to work in extreme conditions – working temperatures may be between 0 and 95 degrees Fahrenheit • Ability to work in direct sunlight for extended periods of time • Ability to work in extreme cold or wintry precipitation • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. • Ability to bend, stoop and twist continuously throughout the day
