FREEHOLD, NJ — The water boil advisory that was put in place on Wednesday after a water main break happened in Freehold has been lifted, the Borough announced. "The water has been tested and deemed safe," the borough said in a statement. Freehold residents who were told to boil their water for a full minute before consuming it no longer need to do so, as of Friday afternoon. Residents were told on Wednesday that there was "a potential or actual threat to the quality of water being provided" to them.
