LA GRANGE, IL — La Grange police released their latest blotter Friday. Here is information from the police reports: DUI Emanuel Gutierrez, 26, of Chicago, was arrested about 2 a.m. Saturday in the 500 block of Ashland Avenue on charges of DUI, driving on a sidewalk, possession of marijuana by a driver, illegal transportation of alcohol and operation of an uninsured motor vehicle. According to a police report, officers were alerted to Gutierrez when someone called about a driver going through a front yard. No valid license Klaudia Pisarska, 19, of Hickory Hills, was cited about 6 p.m. Saturday at Plainfield and La Grange roads on charges of no valid driver's license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. An officer stopped her car because it matched one that had been involved in a burglary that just occurred, according to a police report. Thefts A man in his 30s stole a Dewalt power drill from an open garage Saturday in the 700 block of South La Grange Road while the owner was in back throwing away lawn clippings. Two unsecured scooters were stolen between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Monday in Gordon Park at Ogden and Locust avenues. The scooters were green with three wheels. Each one was valued at $160. A catalytic converter was stolen from a transport bus between 3 p.m. Sept. 3 and 8:30 a.m. Sept. 7 in the 10 block of Shawmut Avenue. The metals in converters have become a lot more valuable in the last year. A pair of sunglasses and other items were stolen from an unlocked car between 7:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 1000 block of Seventh Avenue.A purse containing credit cards, identifications, gift cards and cash was stolen Thursday at St. Cletus School, 700 W. 55th St. The suspect gained access through a partially open window. A man stole cosmetics and household items Thursday at Walgreens, 2 N. La Grange Road. The items were valued at $238. A man and a woman stole cosmetic and "as seen on TV" items Sept. 2 at Walgreens, 2 N. La Grange Road. Police report information is provided by local police departments.
