Park(ing) Day is coming to Eugene! A downtown parking space, themed "This land is your land" will become a temporary mini park, with free coffee, pastries, community and a participatory art installation. Come see how many bicycles fit into one vehicle parking space and try out one of Cascade Mobility's Peace Health Bike share rides. On Park(ing) Day people around the globe repurpose city parking spots and make places to play, talk and have fun. Eugene's Park(ing) Day installation highlights how much land is used for parking cars in a four block area around the installation. The results are surprising!
