Job Summary: Assists in supervising, training, counseling and mentoring warehouse staff. Assists in coordinating warehouse distribution activities. Develops and implements distribution systems, policies and procedures to increase employee productivity and maintain inventory accuracy. Job Requirements: This full-time position requires prior work in a distribution facility or retail establishment overseeing a staff of at least 5 to 10 employees. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Valid Driver's license and reliable transportation required. Must be willing to work overtime and nights if/as needed. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong leadership abilities and a solid work ethic. Bilingual language is a plus but not a requirement. Computer skills and understanding of inventory control applications and concepts is a plus. Expeditor: Dependable, energetic person needed to assist in the order expeditor positions. Much walking involved. Light computer skills and some lifting required. Helps to make sure the orders get onto the right trucks, as we need to add one to this group. Training: All people hired have to go through basic order pulling training until they are able to pull correctly and accurately before being able to help new people, double check orders and help people with problems. The higher pay is for an experienced assistant manager. Hours 2:30pm -11:00pm Salary $14.00 to $18.00 depending on experience.
