Guitarist/ Drummer Looking to Start Rock Band

Rhythm Guitarist looking to start a band. I have several guitar riffs that I'd like to turn in to actual songs, but also looking to collaborate with other like-minded musicians to build on them and form other ideas. I'm a Noob to recording but I JUST recently began obtaining a little bit of equipment to lay down some tracks. Looking for Lead Guitarist, Bass Player, Drummer and/or another Rhythm Guitarist 36 year old male if that matters. Interested in writing originals and playing covers. Decent rhythm guitar player, and I can play drums, but I'm no professional. Still have a lot of room to learn some technique. Can also sing some lead, but mostly back-up vocals. I live in Van Horn, and I have off work every other week, so I'm definitely good to travel to surrounding cities to come jam/practice. That being said, I also have plenty of jam space in my house. Not looking for a definitive sound, but I do lean towards an Alternative/ Metal/ Punk/ Instrumental/ Post Progressive sound, and hoping to add some 8-bit into some of that as well.
