Commercial General Contractor in San Antonio is looking for an experienced construction superintendent Job Duties: - Scheduling subcontractors and creating a 2 week look ahead - Meeting with sub-contractors to obtain bids and change orders - Daily oversight of multiple interior & exterior construction job sites - Supervise all sub-contractors on the assigned projects - Assure work quality meets company standards - Assure sub-contractors have all materials needed to keep production flowing - Receive material deliveries and assure there are no discrepancies - Lead project mobilization - Daily reports - Have weekly progress meetings with subcobtractors and clients as needed - Work in close relation with Project Manager - Incident reports Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: - Experience in commercial construction and tenant improvements - knowledge with project management software applications - At least 5 years of experience as a construction superintendent - Knowledge of job scheduling, planning, expediting and cost control - Ability in problem-solving - Strong sense of urgency - Professional with a positive attitude! - Excellent organizational skills. - Computer Literate and general office skills - Self-motivated and confident. - Strong communication skills. - Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. - Must have valid TX Drivers License - Must have your own work truck (company provides truck after a probationary period) Excellent benefits and 401k. - Must have smart phone Please reply with resume
