Job Summary Sorrell Construction Management is looking for help! We are a small family-owned General Contractor/ construction company operating in the greater Burlington area and all of Chittenden County. We specialize in residential home renovation, additions, and restorations. We also do a fair share of new residential construction and some light commercial work. We are looking to fill a Full-Time position for a lead painter. We are searching for an applicant with 5 to 10 years of painting experience to join our team full time; Applicants should be self-motivated, detailed oriented professionals with an appreciation for providing an extremely high-quality finished product. Applicant will be responsible for managing 1-2 other painters and sharing a consistent high-quality product. All applicants must have a valid driver’s license and their own means of transportation. We offer a very competitive wage with PTO, paid holidays, and a tool purchasing plan. Hours are mandatory Monday through Friday, 7:30 to 4:00. Qualifications and Skills - To work independently and as part of a team, with limited supervision at times. - Proper application of paints across multiple mediums ranging from sheetrock to galvanized metal and brick. - Candidates who are detail-oriented, systematic, and hardworking.
