Hi, My husband and I need to rehome our Great Pyrenees dogs. He is 2 years old, neutered, microchipped and utd on vaccinations. We had him bond to humans so while he is great with chickens, cats, small dogs, goats, pigs, cows, and horses, he is NOT a livestock guardian. He respects fences. His perfect home would take him for at least a 20 min walk everyday and have kids. That’s right! He is fantastic with kids and actually prefers them to adults. The cons: he sheds and requires daily brushing to keep his coat mat free. He drools. And he is LOUD when he barks. No apartments. He can easily rest his head on your countertops and he’s still growing! The pros: fantastic with kids of all ages! Livestock safe. All around wonderful gentle sweetheart. Rehoming fee $200. He will be rehomed with a bag of dog food, his collar and leash, and ALL his vet records and microchip information!
