Fulfill all obligations required to complete tasks described and listed within the job description requirements. Candidate must have a current PA Driver’s License. Hands-On Labor required as well as management of 1-2 employees. Compensation: $40,000 - 45,000 salary based on experience Hours: Monday through Friday 7:00am to 4:00pm (1 hour lunch). Please note for special events, trade/works days/hours could be changed for set up and maintenance needs. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Participate in all issued Maintenance responsibilities listed on description sheet. Physical presence and participation for tasks related to Borough Maintenance needs. Operate power tools of all types, air hammers, tampers and other equipment and instruments. May clean and repair sites, equipment, dig trenches, erect scaffolding and pick up rubble and debris. Use of ladders, climbing ladders and working in elevated places. Snow removal from sidewalks - landscaping duties that will include grass cutting, pruning, trimming during season. Maintenance of Ball Fields, Maintenance and Community Buildings. Follow and fulfill job description requirements that will be included on daily responsibility sheet provided. Fulfill work orders. Job Requirements: Must have valid PA Driver’s license. (CDL preferred but not required) Previous Maintenance experience preferred. Management and decision making skills needed. Oversee 1-2 laborers and work with these laborers. Mechanically inclined, small engine repair, construction experience preferred. Good communication skills and customer service experience. Must be self-motivated and task oriented and able to multi-task. “Hands on”, physical duties required. Very labor intense duties including lifting, stretching, walking long distances, long hours in outdoor weather. High paced atmosphere; able to multi-task; able to give direction to others and have a positive attitude. Ability to work well with others. Knowledge of water systems, sewer systems, MS4 and other municipal directives a plus but not required. Ability to work on weekends and holidays if needed.
