OVERVIEW We have a great opportunity for someone interested in the field of Property Maintenance at Ellsworth Square Apartments! This position is for someone who wants to perform maintenance duties at a 72-unit property. The maintenance tech will work 40 hours/week to take care of all aspects of this well-maintained property. This position also includes monthly reimbursements of $50 for cell phone and $25 for gasoline. Eligible for medical and dental benefits 1st of the month following hire. Eligible for OT paid at 1.5x hourly rate. The job includes (but is not limited to) responding to maintenance requests, handling all minor maintenance, overseeing turnovers and any vendors, communicating with others, enforcing policies and being available to respond to any emergencies. DETAILS Hours: 40 hrs/wk for $3800. monthly salary (a rent credit can be provided with a reduced salary) QUALIFICATIONS – MUST HAVE 3-5 YEARS OF MAINTENANCE EXPERIENCE OR EQUIVALENT!!! NO EXCEPTIONS!! – Strong verbal and written communication skills – Enjoy working with people – Able to accept constructive feedback – Basic knowledge of (and ability to learn) Fair Housing laws. – Home or apartment general MAINTENANCE experience is REQUIRED. – Ability to push/pull 70 lbs. – Enjoy maintaining curb appeal – picking up the grounds, watering flowers, etc. – High school diploma or equivalent We provide a 1-day maintenance Training course to connect you with our expert support team along with your Asset Manager and your Accountant, giving you all the resources needed to launch into this rewarding career.
