Location: Based out of Buena Park CA, 90621. Properties based out of the greater OC and LA area. Education: High School diploma preferred but not required. Experience: General handiwork experience required, experience in electrical and mechanical preferred. Residential or hospitality maintenance also preferred. Type: Full-time Wages/Salary: $18.00 - $20.00/per hour depending on years of experience Benefits: Vacation/Holidays/Medical/401K/Cell Phone Allowance Job Duties: 50% Shop Duties 1. Walk SEC shop/office/upstairs, resolve any safety issues or blocked walkways and create to do’s in WFM as needed for projects/move out any vehicles or equipment to clear shop as needed. 2. Support Field Service Technicians at the shop a. Offer assistance to Field Service Technicians upon their arrival to reduce “non-billable in-shop time” and increase delivery of “Customer promise” time b. Conduct a weekly vehicle inspection per checklist c. Assist in checking and restocking truck inventory per checklist d. Prepare any special equipment requests by Field Service Technicians 3. Review upcoming field service schedules and prepare trucks and equipment for upcoming field service a. Prepare any special equipment requests (tool bags, load banks, etc.) 4. Support billable work at shop or field service 5. Complete SEC shop billable work 6. Parts pick-up or delivery 7. Ship out items ordered from E-bay store 8. Fleet maintenance and repairs 9. Conduct Daily Cleaning per checklist (Sustain 5S, Kanban, Recycling Center) 10. Equipment maintenance 11. Facilities maintenance 12. Work on projects overseen by Operations Manager. 50% Community Maintenance and Landscaping Duties 1. Complete and document work preformed at communities in an excel sheet; take photos of receipts, and work before and after. 2. Comply with safety regulations, including maintaining clean and orderly work areas. 3. Clean and maintain waste and dumpster areas. 4. Landscaping duties: Mowing, edging, blowing, cleaning planter beds, and minor irrigation repairs. 5. Perform regular preventative maintenance on facilities. 6. Inspect lighting and change light bulbs. 7. Perform minor gate and lock repairs. 8. Perform minor dry walling, painting, and wood staining. Skills: Good oral and written communication skills Good Organizational skills Able to use Word and Excel Ability to communicate effectively in the English language. Basic plumbing knowledge. Basic electrical knowledge. Basic tool knowledge. Painting and drywall experience. (Not necessary but preferred) Physical Requirements: Able to use hand tools Able to climb ladders Able to lift 100 lbs. Must Have The Following: Valid Driver’s License Willing to undergo a background check including driving record check.
