Lulu is a beautiful adult Chi mix, around 9 years old. She weighs exactly 8 pounds, is house-trained, and an ideal companion animal for an older person/couple or quiet home. Her health is excellent- she has been fed top-quality food and protein scraps, and full dental is done ($500). She enjoys walks but is content with regular trips to sniff around outside/potty. Lulu is mellow, and doesn't wander off property or bolt at the door. She is loyal, yet cautious, will bark when someone is at the door, and will bond well to a caring individual. She has never bitten (including some fairly obnoxious children) but will snarl/retreat if repeatedly provoked. We have a large, active family, and are often gone. It is time for her to enjoy the second half of her lifespan in a quieter home where she will have more constant companionship and be comfortable and happy. We are particular about her adoption, and would prefer someone in the local area (we are in San Clemente) so our daughter can see her on occasion. $150 rehoming fee includes all of her gear- food, flea treatment (several months), leash/collar, kennel, food bowls, and favorite bed.
