Join us for an evening full of interesting conversation and creative expression with a focus on feminism and other relevant feminist topics. Hello! We are the Feminist Union (FU) Zine. Our mission is to create a space for feminists to freely share and discuss their experiences and opinions. Our first Feminist Union meetup is scheduled for Thursday 23rd from 4.30 - 6.30pm and will be held at Cafe Presse. Tickets are not required, feel free to drop in at any time! We will: - Chat about news and current events related to feminism - Discuss issues around feminism, capitalism, the patriarchy, gender norms, etc.. - Share personal experiences with each other - Discuss media (art, movies, books etc) from a feminism perspective - Express ourselves creatively! E.g. paint, draw, make music, write poetry, etc.. This is an inclusive meeting - Anyone who identifies as a feminist, regardless of age, sex, gender, religion, ethnicity, etc. is welcome!
